It is being reported that the diver, Ryder Sturt, was diving for lobsters when he failed to surface near the Painted Cave Preserve.

After a day-long search on Monday, searchers were unable to locate 34 year old Sturt, who disappeared the day before. Rescue divers combed the water for about three hours, but were unable to locate Sturt before darkness hampered the search.
