For Immediate Release
On Wednesday, September 23rd, the WRSTC convened its first ever global meeting, open to all members of the RSTC EU, RSTC Canada, and the RSTC US. The session marked an important milestone for the organization, bringing members from all three regions together in a single forum to discuss shared priorities and the future direction of the industry.

The meeting was extremely productive. Members were united in their commitment to open communication and transparency between the two regional councils, recognizing that trust and clear dialogue are the foundation of any lasting collaboration. There was also a strong, shared desire to establish effective global standards that serve divers, instructors, and training organizations worldwide.

Participants expressed appreciation for the opportunity to connect directly and welcomed the collaborative spirit that defined the discussion. The WRSTC looks forward to building on this momentum and will continue working with members of the RSTC EU, RSTC Canada, and the RSTC US to advance consistent, practical, and safety-focused standards across the international community.

Further updates will be shared with members as this work progresses.
