Q: What business challenge did you face?

We Needed to Reposition Ourselves for Success – Particularly as the Business Landscape Has Changed.

A: The global pandemic has had a profound impact on businesses worldwide, and Aloha Diving (S –28221) was no exception. However, we recognized the challenges posed by this difficult time. So, we seized the opportunity to forge new partnerships and reposition our company for success.

Q: What was your biggest fear about changing to PADI?

We were concerned about losing loyal customers and how to adapt to the PADI platform.

A: After being affiliated with another training agency for over seven years since the inception of Aloha Diving, we decided during this period to transition to PADI. We didn’t make this decision lightly. In essence, we’ve always believed in the adage, “Never change a winning team.”  As a result, we were concerned about the potential loss of loyal customers and the technical challenges involved in switching, such as updating our website and adapting to the PADI platform.

Q: How did PADI help you solve the problem?

The PADI marketing tools and business support helped us immensely.

A: Fortunately, our concerns were quickly addressed by the responsible PADI Regional Manager, who dedicated ample time to dispel our initial doubts. The transition turned out to be seamless, as PADI provided us with full support and essential marketing materials for our fresh start. We were particularly impressed by the marketing tools PADI offers, the valuable webinars they conducted, and their helpful analysis of our website.

Q: How is it working now?

We quickly noticed a significant increase in potential clients to seize new opportunities.

A: Shortly after proudly displaying the PADI flag in front of our shop, we noticed a significant increase in inquiries for diving trips and courses. In fact, tourists have booked with us solely because they saw the PADI flag while passing by our shop. We now receive more course bookings than ever before from an international audience. Undoubtedly, a substantial part of this success can be attributed to the renowned PADI brand. In addition to benefiting from PADI brand recognition, we can proudly promote our commitment to sustainable dive trips and courses as a recognized PADI Eco Center – a journey we embarked on several years ago. This affiliation further enhances our reputation and attracts environmentally conscious divers who seek responsible diving experiences.

This transition to PADI has marked a new chapter for Aloha Diving, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. We will continue our efforts to provide exceptional dive trips and courses while upholding the high standards set by PADI. Our dedication to sustainable practices will remain a cornerstone of our operations, and we look forward to further promoting and preserving the beauty of our oceans.
