To become an EFR Airborne Pathogen Awareness Instructor, register and watch the Airborne Pathogen Awareness Instructor Webinar (run time 25 minutes). Just 24 hours after watching the webinar, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Submit this certificate, along with your completed EFR Distinctive Instructor Application, to your Regional Headquarters.

EFR Instructors who are also PADI® Members may download the EFR Instructor and participant materials free of charge from the PADI Pros’ Site. Non-PADI EFR Instructors may contact your Regional Headquarters to request these materials.
How to Register Your Participants for the EFR-Authored Courses
Purchase EFR Course Completion Authorizations (CCA) through your Regional Training Consultant (RTC) and send completed course registrations into your Regional Headquarters.
EFR Instructors who are PADI Members may register participants via the PADI Online Processing Center (OLPC 3.0), and eCards will be issued.
EFR Instructors who want to also issue a wall certificate as evidence of course completion may complete the digital certificate found in the instructor materials. The digital certificate requires the student number to be inserted.
You may also find a need for region-specific EFR-authored courses, such as 12-Hour Care for Children, First Aid at Work (GB and NI) and Basic Workplace First Aid in Canada.
If you have specialist knowledge or experience in an area, you may write your own distinctive specialty. Examples of courses that have been authored include Sports First Aid, Canine First Aid, and Opioid First Aid.
