Add Sounds to Your Video

Add-Sounds-To-Your-TikTokTikTok users can either use sounds or original audio in their videos.

Sounds refer to the music that you can choose from TikTok’s library.

Original Audio refers to music created by the user such as voice overs or the actual sound from your uploaded clip.

Publish Your Edited Videos

Publish-Your-TikTokNow that you’ve created and edited your video, it’s time to publish it to your TikTok page! Before you press that big, red, post button, there are a couple of steps to follow:

  1. Add a concise and engaging caption for your video. The ideal TikTok caption should be short and complementary to the video you’re sharing.
  2. Include relevant and trending hashtags in your captions.
  3. Set who can see your video and if users can Duet or Stitch your clip. Duets allow users to take another person’s video and add to it, while Stitch allows users to trim and edit other user’s video clips into their own.

With your caption and hashtags locked down, as well as having decided who can view your clip, it is time for you to either draft or publish your clip. By tapping draft, your video will not be published but will be saved for you to edit at a later date in your drafts on your profile. If you tap ‘Post’ your video will be uploaded to your profile and released into the TikTok ecosystem.
