Virtual PADI® Miniseminars
These DEMA miniseminars can be attended at any time and receive one credit for every three PADI miniseminars attended. By virtually attending the Quality and Risk Management and PADI Standards: Year in Review miniseminars, along with two additional presentations, PADI Members can regain Teaching status after not renewing for one to three years.

Quality and Risk Management (required for credit)
Determine how prepared you are through an analysis of real dive incidents and learn how conservative decisions provide better protection. You’ll also learn how to better manage risk in diver education programs and throughout your dive business.

New DSD Safety Study Published
Join PADI Staff as they review new findings from a recent Discover Scuba® Diving (DSD®) safety study that was published this past June in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine. The study examined the mortality rate within PADI’s DSD program from 1992 (DSD’s introduction) through 2019. Statistical analysis compared all program fatalities (79) against 7 million+ registrations in two 14 year periods, finding a significant fatality rate decline to .87 per 100K participants for the period ending in 2019. Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer
2 December 2021 – 12:00 – 4:00 PM PT

Fee: $695 US
As an Emergency First Response® Instructor Trainer, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your passion for teaching and increase your income by training others to become Emergency First Response Instructors. This half-day program is open to EFR® Instructors who have completed the preparatory online component and conducted at least five EFR courses or issued at least 25 EFR course completion cards. This program includes access to the online pre-study presentations and to the live practical component.

Please have an Emergency First Response Trainer Manual, a current/updated Emergency First Response Instructor Manual, and your completed knowledge review and marketing plan assignment.
